Teachers provide a stimulating classroom environment and quality educational experiences to Pre-K children. All Pre-K teachers must meet current credential requirements. The Teacher’s attend annual Pre-K training. The program hit another milestone by celebrating 20 years of Georgia’s Pre-K.
Children take a project approach, which empowers them to direct their learning based on their interests through authentic experiments and activities. Teachers prompt children to use their imaginations, create their own solutions, and investigate themes as they facilitate and guide the learning process. The children arrange a culminating event or project that not only displays their work but celebrates their achievements.
As a host of the lottery-funded GA Pre-K program we have been entrusted to prepare your child for kindergarten. The 6.5 hour day provides activities and learning experiences that help prepare your child for Kindergarten.

The Pre-K classroom is designed to facilitate learning experiences and the teacher’s goal is to create a rich environment and develop lesson plans that foster a child’s initiative and exploration and will ultimately lead to an enthusiasm for learning that will follow your child to Kindergarten.
